# Create AWS Account

##  Creating An AWS Account

1.  In a browser, open the [AWS Webpage](https://aws.amazon.com/)

2.  Click the **Create an AWS Account** button in the upper-right corner of the page.

3.  Click **Create a new AWS account**

4.  Fill in the following values, and click **Verify email address**:

    - **Root user email address** - *your_vectra_email_address*
    - **AWS account name** - Vectra_*Firstname-Lastname*

5.  Follow the steps in the verification email to complete the account setup.
